What You'll be Doing To provide optimum pharmaceutical services in the designated specialised area(s) of the Pharmacy Department. This includes operational oversight of this service to ensure staff are adequately trained, policies and legislation are adhered to and that there is a focus on high quality and safe medication management. General leadership, clinical and/or dispensary pharmacy duties may be required by the Director of Pharmacy as part of the role. The pharmacy has responsibility for providing a comprehensive clinical service to ensure safe, effective, outcome based and customer focused care to the patients of the hospital. Current Authority to Practice as a Pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team, including a record of participation in clinical meetings and medical rounds Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult effectively, advise and provide assistance to professional peers and other staff. Including computer literacy and ability to use health information systems Demonstrated participation in development and review of medication and other related policies. Demonstrated ability to actively participate in quality improvement programs as well as training and education experience. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and adhere to deadlines with the proven ability to problem solve using initiative Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff in the delivery of high quality pharmacy service within a tertiary referral hospital Need more information?
