The future is bright, offering endless opportunities to Grow with Lindsay’s .The Opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Safety, Risk & Compliance, and working as part of a broader Safety team, you’ll own the Lindsay Australia Safety and Compliance Audit Plan that covers 40 plus branches and depots Australia-wide. You'll lead engagement with external auditors, uphold accreditation standards, and strengthen customer audit programs. With a sharp eye for risk and compliance, you'll assess our safety and food safety management systems, policies, and procedures—while coaching leaders and boosting capability across our operations.Key Responsibilities: Conduct safety and compliance audits across our rural, transport and logistics operations. Ensure the audit program supports adherence to industry regulations and accreditation requirements. Facilitate the incorporation of audit findings into relevant system improvements across the business. Identify gaps in safety practices and regulatory compliance, recommending corrective actions. Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation and regulatory adherence. Develop the Lindsay Australia audit capability through coaching and education to meet accreditation and other compliance obligations. Stay updated on relevant accreditation and safety-related requirements and industry best practices. Prepare detailed reports outlining non-compliance issues and collaborate with the business to develop and deliver effective corrective actions. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive safety initiatives and foster a positive safety culture. Track, report, and oversee the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements. About You: To excel in this role, you’ll need experience working with safety obligations and understanding of accreditation requirements across Work Health and Safety (WHS), Food Safety, Transport and ISO accreditations.You should have solid experience in safety audits, compliance checks, and understand health and safety risk management practices within transport and/or agricultural industries. An ability to build positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders is a must.Good communication and report-writing skills are key, along with the ability to work well on your own and with a team.
