Job Description
Forage Gourmet Edibles is Sydney's premier grower of boutique baby herbs, salad mixes & edible flowers. The Leading Farm Hand role is for highly motivated individuals who want to take on some responsibility, assist with supervision of staff, and help ensure day-to-day operations of the farm run smoothly. Responsibilities This is a full-time on-site Leading Farm Hand role located in Mangrove Mountain, NSW at Forage Gourmet Edibles. The Leading Farm Hand will be responsible for tasks such as running the hydroponics system, setting up the pick, picking, pulling & planting, seeding, spraying & weed management, making up fertilizers, training staff, supervising staff in the owner's absence, farm maintenance, building projects, and general farm duties as required. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced farm environment Strong work ethic and physical fitness Experience in farm operations is a plus Driver's license and own transport Spraying experience preferred Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
