Job Description By enhancing the risk capability of individuals and teams, the Learning & Capability Manager plays a crucial part in safeguarding the organisation against potential risks and fostering a culture of proactive risk management. The Learning & Capability Manager is responsible for enhancing individual and organisational risk capability. This role involves strategically executing learning and development initiatives that support the effective implementation of TAL’s risk management framework. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing training best practices and standards across various business units. Ensuring effective execution of required training programs, and fostering strong partnerships with business leaders and stakeholders. Assessing training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with the business. Designing comprehensive educational solutions to address identified gaps. Monitoring the effectiveness of training programs by collecting and analysing data, preparing detailed reports, and making recommendations for improvement based on feedback and performance metrics. The Learning & Capability Manager will also stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in risk management and training methodologies, incorporating innovative approaches into TAL’s training curriculum to ensure continuous growth and compliance. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years experience in learning and development roles, ideally in the financial service industry. Prior experience working with design and delivering training & information to employees. Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation with the ability to inspire teams. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and align diverse audiences. You’re always accountable for your actions. You never give up.
