Classification: Academic Level BSalary package: $115,739 - $131,227 per annum plus 17% superannuation (pro-rata) Terms: Part time (21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE), Continuing (contingent funded) This position is continuing (contingent funded) . The funding that supports this project is up to 31 December 2026. Position overview The ANU Community Music Centre is seeking an energetic team player to guide our community outreach programs. The Convenor role includes delivering music programs for both children and adults as well as shaping future School of Music outreach programs. To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm across a wide range of music genres. The Convenor of the Community Music Centre oversees the management and provides musical direction to a range of outreach programs funded by artsACT. The successful candidate will require a sound working knowledge of classical, jazz, and contemporary music, as well as the ability to support music production, recording techniques, theory, aural skills, and composition in a community context.
