Job Description We currently have two full-time, permanent vacancies in our Department of Accounting, Finance, and Economics, commencing in Trimester 2, 2025: Lecturer – Finance (specialising in personal finance/financial planning) Lecturer – Accounting (specialising in business law and taxation) As a Lecturer at Griffith, you will: Contribute to high-impact research and build a portfolio of high-quality outputs. Foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation in learning and teaching. Continuously improve teaching practices through professional development and critical reflection. Support high-quality learning outcomes through innovative and future-focused approaches. Develop meaningful partnerships with the broader community and external stakeholders. About You We are looking for individuals with a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline, a special interest in teaching personal finance/financial planning or business law and taxation, and the ability to network effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You should also demonstrate leadership in teaching and curriculum development, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to working in a collegial manner. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be Level B Lecturer range $110,464 - $131,180 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $129,243 - $153,481 per annum. Both positions are continuing and full time and can be based either at our Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.
