Overview: Full-time, Continuing position Academic Level B ($110,868 - $131,659) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About You Are you passionate about shaping the future of management education and research? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer (Level B) to join our Department of Management & Organisation within the School of Management . As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, engaging in impactful research, and contributing to the academic and professional community. This position offers the opportunity to coordinate and teach courses in Organisational Behaviour and/or Social Issues in Management while actively contributing to research aligned with the University's strategic goals. You’ll be part of a vibrant and supportive academic community committed to excellence in teaching and research. To be successful in this position, you will have a proven superior capacity in the following areas: Curriculum development and delivery – Prepare and deliver courses at undergraduate and post-graduate levels in Organisational Behaviour or Social Issues in Management, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials. Course Coordination – Undertake course coordination role, including course design, development, and delivery as well as management of other ongoing and sessional academics in the teaching team. Student Engagement – Work effectively and efficiently with, and to negotiate winsomely with students on issues pertinent to their learning outcomes. Research and Scholarship – Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs evidenced by publications in quality journals, research grants, development of novel and significant research initiatives, and industry engagements. Research Supervision – Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research students is desirable. Industry network and funding – Ability to build effective networks with colleagues and generate alternative funding projects through effective liaison with industry and government. People skills – Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with coursework and research students, academic and professional staff, as well as industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
