This exciting opportunity offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time employment in either a teaching-focused or a teaching and research capacity. About the Role As a Lecturer in Speech Pathology, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students, ensuring their readiness to excel in dynamic environments. Depending on your appointment type, you will engage in curriculum development, teaching innovation, and either pursue impactful research or undertake scholarly work to advance the discipline. Key Responsibilities Teaching Focused Role: Develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging curriculum and learning activities. Provide constructive feedback to students and mentor other academics. Lead teaching improvement projects and contribute to the discipline's pedagogy. Teaching and Research Role: Design, coordinate, and deliver curriculum while advancing disciplinary teaching and learning approaches. Conduct high-quality research, secure funding, and publish findings. Supervise postgraduate and Higher Degree by Research students. About You We are seeking a candidate who: Demonstrates effectiveness in teaching and curriculum development. Possesses excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills. Shows a commitment to diversity and continuous improvement. For teaching and research roles, evidence of high-quality research outputs and success in securing research funding is essential. Desirable attributes include clinical or teaching expertise in areas such as adult developmental disability, First Nations’ health, swallowing, literacy across the lifespan, or clinical education.
