Located on the Camperdown Campus at the Faculty of Science Make significant contribution to teaching and learning practice for the School of Psychology Base Salary Level B, $122,830 - $145,858 p.a. + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Science is welcoming applications for a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (Education) to join the Clinical Psychology Unit within the School of Psychology in the role of Director of the Psychology Clinic. You will work closely with other staff and clinical supervisors in providing teaching and supervision of Master of Clinical Psychology students and provide operational oversight of the Clinic. Your key responsibilities will be to: conduct clinical supervision of students alongside other staff within the Clinical Psychology Unit manage the Psychology Clinic ensuring smooth and effective clinical service provision oversee intake reviews and client triage processes maintain clinical, operational and WHS policy and handbooks maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including referral agencies coordinate internal student placements and allocations, including student orientation and induction provide direct supervision of the Clinic Receptionist role contribute to teaching on the Master of Clinical Psychology program in areas of expertise conduct independent and clinically relevant research. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (Education) who has: a PhD in psychology or a related area registration and an Area of Practice Endorsement in clinical psychology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) approval as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia experience of providing clinical supervision to provisionally registered psychologists experience in running a clinical psychology service, ideally within a university setting a current or willingness to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
