Your opportunity We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and enthusiastic Library Aide and Administration Officer (Student Services) to commence as soon as possible. The successful candidate will support and assist their supervisor and teaching staff to deliver the Information and Library Services program and Student Services for our Junior School students during term time only. The Library Aide and Administration Officer (Student Services) assists in the provision of a safe learning environment for students and works with students on a one to one basis, or in small groups and provides administration support; preparing and maintaining teaching, learning and recreational resources as required. In addition, they will develop, implement and administer high quality reception and administration services to students, parents and staff. You will have: Demonstrated relevant experience within an education environment. Demonstrated understanding of Library practices and procedures including daily operation of the Library, processing and maintaining the Library collection and borrowing records. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in administration tasks and assisting with Library displays and set up for activities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. A high level of attention to detail. Experience with maintaining a Library Management System is desirable. Working with Children Check - Blue Card. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
