The role involves ensuring system reliability, automation, and compliance with operational standards while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Manage installation, configuration, and sustainment of Linux systems and network devices. Use automation tools like Puppet and Ansible for system builds and configuration replication. Maintain core services such as monitoring, syslog, and authentication. Implement infrastructure updates, patches, and upgrades while ensuring system reliability. Communicate technical details to diverse stakeholders and maintain technical documentation. Prepare and test software implementation procedures, including disaster recovery. Monitor and resolve operational system issues.
