Here's what you'll be doing: Learning compliance, regional operations, and customer requirements: A holistic approach to understanding the transport industry starting with compliance and moving onto regional operations and customer requirements. Learning all aspects of transport and warehousing in remote depots: Working within the depots you will be involved with purchase ordering, accounts payable, reconciliation of work orders, vehicle costings, operations, and scheduling. What Sands look for in a Logistic Graduate: Living within the Bunbury region: To be successful for this role you will need to be living within the Bunbury region. A formal degree or qualification: A degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, or similar. Sound planning and organisational skills: This role will require a methodical approach and particularly keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills: Connecting with and engaging the team around you is key to your success. Excellent technology skills: Intermediate to advance knowledge and skills across Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). The ability to be flexible: Traveling to Perth on a regular basis as well as travelling to the different regional depots will be required. A strong work ethic: You will need a 'can-do' attitude.
