We are looking for a Full-Time - Logistics Manager/Specialist (Bibra Lake Warehouse). The successful candidate will possess the following: Advanced knowledge and understanding of business software. Advanced analytical, problem solving and organisational skills. Advanced oral and written communication skills. Strong organisational & multitasking skills. Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgement, diplomacy, analytical ability and professional demeanour. Knowledge of Stainless & Performance Steel packaging & handling requirements. Experience in variable & nonstandard freight solutions. Advanced knowledge of Logistics & material handling. Advanced knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety practices. Proficient in Human Resource & People Management. Reporting to the Supply Manager, the responsibilities of the Logistics Manager/Specialist include: Perform & execute Logistics & Customs Service Provider activities & planning. Review Customs Compliance & Clearance competitive provision & performance. Logistics – International - Transactional & Development. Problem-solving international shipments liaising with other departments. Logistics organisation between Stirlings' Warehouses, Forwarders & Customers. Identify & evaluate Supplier performance with recommendations. Review Customs Compliance & Clearance competitive provision & performance. Logistics – Interstate, intrastate & Metro Transactional & Development. Creation of practices & procedures. Review Air, Sea, Rail & Road Transport competitive provision & performance between forwarders to establish preferred supplier lists. Oversee, review & execute on logistical supplier agreements. Data Reporting & Recommendations. Development of new service providers. Quality & Systems – Enhancements & Development. Divisional HR Management - Logistics. Divisional Support – Logistics & Projects, Indents & Contracts.
