Specialising in transporting over-dimensional and over-mass freight based on a mine site. We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Haulage Drivers to haul over-dimensional freight along a rail for one of our largest clients, on a 2:1 roster. * Please note that we additionally have a casual role available for a limited time, with the potential to transition into a max-term project upon completion on a 3:1 roster. About You: Hold a current, unrestricted MC Driver's License Hold a national accredited load restraint training certification or have the ability to obtain one Hold a nationally accredited chain of responsibility certification or have the ability to obtain one Hold a white card or have the ability to obtain one Hold a WAF fatigue Management Certificate (within 3 years ) Ability to pass a medical including: pre-employment, commercial drivers and drug and alcohol screen Ability to work away from home for extended periods of time Experience in restraining and transporting over-dimensional and over-mass loads Experience with mine site heavy haulage transport equipment, including low loaders and drop decks Experience with float and road trains mobilising/demobilising equipment to project site Be highly motivated with the ability to work unsupervised Demonstrate a detailed understanding of road statutory and regulatory permit requirements Proven track record understanding and adhering to operating conditions What we can offer you: 2:1 roster, week of days, week of nights Fortnightly pay Late models, well maintained equipment Super paid on all hours Flights paid from selected locations Key Responsibilities: Loading & unloading of varying over-dimensional and over-mass cargo Securing and restraining all cargo in a safe manner and as per operational requirements Completing pre-start and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork Transporting cargo to and from the specified mine site Complying with fatigue management and road rules and regulations Complying with Company Policies and Procedures Ensuring adherence to all state permitting legislation Ensure all relevant permits are carried at all times Maintain a clean truck and float, carrying out daily maintenance About Us: For over 15 years, Re:Group has solidified its reputation as a trusted leader in Australia's mines, delivering holistic mining solutions that span the entire lifecycle of a project—from initial excavation through to resource exportation.
