Are you an experienced Maintenance Planner ready for a new opportunity? At Delta, we’re looking for someone like you to bring your planning expertise to our dynamic Maintenance Support team at Vales Point Power Station. Step into a key role, coordinating both short-term and long-term maintenance activities, and collaborating with specialists across various plant areas. The key responsibilities of the role include: Plan and Coordinate: Develop clear and effective work schedules for maintenance staff and ensure that all planned work, from routine checks to emergency defects, is completed efficiently Quality Assurance: Implement and improve quality systems and processes, ensuring everything we do meets the highest standards. You’ll also conduct internal audits to recommend improvements Manage Contracts: Oversee contracts, ensuring all objectives are met. This includes managing work orders, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental rules Project Management: Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly, including assisting with outages and tracking project progress About You: You have a diploma (or equivalent) in engineering, business, project/contract management or quality assurance You bring in-depth knowledge of modern power stations or other heavy industry and have an interest in working with large process plant You’re great at developing plans and adjusting them as needed to meet deadlines You have solid experience with maintenance planning, quality assurance and project management along with knowledge of safety and compliance regulations You’re good with computers, being familiar with software including MS Project, Excel, Word and Outlook You are a strong communicator, both written and verbally; and are able to break down complex technical matters to a broad audience You love finding creative, effective solutions to challenges and can handle multiple priorities as once You work well with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the business We Offer Enjoy a great work-life balance in a supportive and family friendly team environment Work a 35-hour week Take an extra day off every 4 weeks with our RDO option Enjoy the flexibility to take on overtime if you’re interested Earn a competitive salary (127k to $145k) plus an impressive 13.5% superannuation Benefit from organisation-wide bonus opportunities Access generous EA benefits and leave options, including additional personal leave, study leave and up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave for eligible employees Take advantage of ongoing training, leadership programs, study assistance and secondment opportunities Utilise our Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support Enjoy working close to home on the beautiful Central Coast NSW Benefit from study, fitness, employee discounts and novated lease programs About Delta We offer an engaging and unique work environment where you will be valued as an integral part of the business.
