MC Operators - Upskilling Opportunity to Float Operators Are you an experienced MC Operator based in the South West, looking for an upskilling opportunity to become a Float Operator? Hit ‘APPLY’! The Role Cardinal Contractors are currently offering permanent positions for a Multi Combination Drivers experienced in heavy haulage to upskill to a Float Operator. Applicants will need to be based in the South West to commute to Collie , on a 5:2 roster, Day shift only. Job tasks and responsibilities A minimum of 5 years’ experience with double watercarts, side tippers and heavy haulage Previous experience in heavy machinery operating Experience operating 50t to 100t floats - advantageous Inspecting truck for mechanical items and safety issues Maintain internal and external truck cleanliness Complete all Cardinal Contractors paperwork and all other necessary paperwork to comply with any relevant regulation or statutory requirement Complete activity logs and records in line with Department of Transport regulations Comply with laws on commercial vehicle operation as per Federal, State and local authorities Good written and oral communication skills Knowledge and practical application of Workplace OH&S Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical as well as drug and alcohol screen Must have current National Police Clearance Hold a valid white card or equivalent Next Step If you believe your qualifications align with the requirements outlined above, we encourage you to submit your CV through SEEK.
