Join Our Team for permanent full-time opportunities at Our Garnet Mine Site. About the Role: Residential full-time role working a roster of 8 days on / 6 days off, 7 nights on / 7 days off. Located at Lucky Bay Garnet - 30 Kilometers from Kalbarri. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include operating and maintaining equipment on a mineral sands processing plant. Key duties will include but are not limited to: Operate and maintain fixed plant and mobile production mining equipment and machinery. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Monitor and report on production and equipment performance. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets. What you need to Succeed: Previous experience in mining or heavy machinery operation is preferred (including but not limited to 982/988 loaders, Excavators, Moxy trucks, forklifts, IT loaders, EWP). Current driver’s license (HR or C class). Forklift and EWP tickets (ideal but not essential). Must be able to provide a national police check and complete a pre-employment medical. Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Regular time off living in a tourist location. About the Company: Australian Garnetowns operates the Lucky Bay garnet mine, which has a mine life of 30 years. We are an owner miner with our own fleet of mining equipment, a fully operational processing plant, packaging plant, and 7 wind turbines, construction was completed approximately 18 months ago and is located 30 kilometers from Kalbarri.
