About the role We are seeking an experienced Maintainer Operator- Electrical to join our team at the Kogan Energy Hub supporting our Chinchilla Battery (CBESS) and Hydrogen Demonstration Plant (HDP). The CBESS and HDP is located approx. 20 minutes outside of Chinchilla,QLD next to Kogan Creek Power Station. In this permanent site based role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of electrical systems and equipment within our state-of-the-art energy facility. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliable and efficient performance of the CBESS and HDP. What you'll be doing Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults, and implementing appropriate corrective actions Coordinating and overseeing the work of electrical contractors and technicians Monitoring and optimising the performance of electrical systems to maximise energy efficiency Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance requirements Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and system performance About you Qualified electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial or energy-sector role Strong understanding and experience in HV switching Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with relevant electrical standards and regulations What we offer At CS Energy, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
