About the Role Zenith owns, operates, and maintains remote power stations. We are looking to expand our existing maintenance team with a suitably qualified electrical tradesperson to work at our Bellevue power station as Power Station Operator Maintainer—Electrical (FIFO). The Maintainer Electrical works on equipment from OEMs such as Wartsila, Jenbacher, MTU, and Cummins. We would like to hear from you if you have experience with any of these OEMs. Working within a small team, this position executes planned and unplanned electrical maintenance tasks on the equipment within Zenith’s Bellevue power station. The role ensures maintenance tasks are carried out to the highest quality standards to ensure equipment reliability. Responsibilities will include: Operate and maintain reciprocating engines and power generation equipment. Routine and breakdown maintenance. Repair power generation and auxiliary equipment. Power generation and engine management control system maintenance. Fault finding and troubleshooting. Analysis of power generation equipment, systems and associated auxiliary equipment. Prepare and maintain internal and external reports and recommend continuous improvement. Attend the power station after hours while on-site for faults/breakdowns. Raise and maintain work orders and purchase order requests in ERP. About You As the Power Station Operator Maintainer - Electrical , you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role: 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Electrical trade. Heavy industry or power generation experience in a maintenance role is desirable but candidates from other industries may be considered. Remote site or FIFO experience. Tradesperson-level ERP experience (Pronto, Ellipse, SAP) is desirable. Ability to work unsupervised. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office products. HV Switching Ticket, desirable. WA Electrical Workers license. First Aid certificate. Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical. Right to work in Australia.
