About the role The Pioneers Lodge, a leading aged care provider in Griffith NSW, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join their dedicated team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the aged care home, contributing to the comfort and safety of our residents. What you'll be doing Performing general maintenance tasks such as repairs, painting, and minor renovations Conducting regular inspections and identifying any issues that require attention Coordinating and overseeing the work of external contractors when needed Ensuring the property and equipment are well-maintained and comply with all relevant safety standards Responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents Keeping detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenses Supporting the wider team to deliver an exceptional standard of care and service to our residents What we're looking for Relevant trade qualification (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, or electrical) or demonstrated experience in a similar maintenance role Strong problem-solving and hands-on practical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations Experience in an aged care or healthcare setting would be highly regarded What we offer At The Pioneers Lodge, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
