As part of the COSOL group of companies, we bring together purpose-built tools, qualified personnel, and a comprehensive library of existing data to efficiently execute master data projects.Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance plans that ensure the reliability and efficiency of our heavy mobile equipment and facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for heavy mobile equipment to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs and equipment reliability. Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend proactive maintenance strategies. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities. Track and report on maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills: Mechanical Trade qualification highly regarded Minimum of 2 years Maintenance planning experience for Open Cut Mining equipment. Experience using SAP Ability to work effectively with stakeholders from other departments. Strong Microsoft Office skills, with a particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Projects. Understanding of budget and cost control. Benefits: $85 per hour with Superannuation on all hours worked Weekly pays 6 month initial contract, potential for extension Camp accommodation and meals supplied while working 9 day fortnight roster (Monday - Friday/Monday - Thursday) Mine site only 1.5 hours from Mackay!
