About the Role This exciting role & opportunity exists at Australia’s largest small stock processing plant located in Tamworth , Australia’s country music capital & the heart of the New England. This pivotal role of a Reliability Leader would be a perfect fit for someone who is hands-on in their ability to ensure the reliability & availability of equipment, assets within the site. In managing the maintenance team of 8 & coordinating maintenance efforts. Ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, machinery during a specific shift or period. Work Life Balance Rotating Roster 5:4 - 4:5 12hr shifts - 6am - 6pm Start/ Finish Rotation 5 Weeks Annual Leave The Quality Ingredients for Success Just like our best cuts of meat, there are a few essential qualities that we need & look for in this role: Coordinating Maintenance Schedules: Optimizing equipment uptime & disruption to production. Supervising maintenance team day-to-day maintenance operations. Inspection & Root Cause: Routine inspections of equipment & facilities to identify issues & requirements. Root Cause Analysis investigating for equipment failures or reliability issues. Work Order Prioritisation: Assign, review by priority equipment criticality, safety & production needs. Team Managing: Provide leadership & guidance to the maintenance team during their shift. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve, enhance reliability & reduce downtime. Maintenance & safety compliance systems & documentation are actioned. Experience & Qualifications Mechanical/Electrical Trade Qualification 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory role or similar Budgeting & Cost Control Use in Maintenance Planning System/s using Mex or similar system/s.
