What you will do: The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of negotiating, managing, and assessing a caseload of diverse applications including major developments in the Kensington and Kingsford town centres, and a wide range of commercial, industrial, open space, housing, and subdivision applications. We trust you will bring: Tertiary qualification(s), at degree level, in planning, architecture, or urban design. Extensive experience in the assessment of complex planning matters (preferably with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience). Excellent knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and other relevant environmental and planning legislation. Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated high-quality report writing skills. Strong focus on commitment to quality customer service. Current and valid Class C Australian Drivers Licence.
