Translink is seeking a Major Project Service Delivery Manager to lead and manage major infrastructure projects within the public transport sector. About The Role As the Major Project Service Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage a skilled team dedicated to delivering major service changes and integrating new public transport infrastructure. You will oversee project management, governance, and stakeholder integration for key transport projects, ensuring smooth transitions for both services and passengers. In this role, you'll work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including Queensland Rail, TMR, and local government to drive effective project outcomes. Your focus will be on delivering improvements in service delivery, customer experience and operational performance across high-value transport projects. Key Responsibilities Managing and mentoring a team of professionals responsible for delivering major public transport service changes. Coordinating and integrating major infrastructure projects with Translink's passenger transport services (including Busways, rail, and metro). Negotiating, monitoring, and reporting on project outcomes, ensuring they are on schedule, within scope, and meet risk management standards. Developing strategic plans to ensure seamless project delivery, focusing on customer experience, benefit realisation, and operational excellence. Leading governance processes and continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of major projects. Qualifications To be successful in this position, we are looking for someone with: Proven experience in leading complex transport projects, with a focus on integrating new infrastructure into existing networks. Expertise and/or qualifications in project and program management within the public transport or infrastructure sector. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders. A focus on customer-centric solutions and innovative thinking to improve services and enhance the passenger experience.
