About the Role We’re looking for an MSS Lead to take ownership of our Managed Security Services and help scale our security operations. This is a foundational role , meaning you’ll help shape how we deliver security for our clients, ensuring N-Able nSight, Cove Data Backup, and SentinelOne are managed effectively and drive real security outcomes. You’ll lead security monitoring, threat management, and operational security services , ensuring our clients get the best possible protection while streamlining processes for scalability and profitability . This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment, can balance technical execution with client engagement , and wants to be a key part of a growing cybersecurity company . Key Responsibilities Lead & Manage MSS Operations Oversee and manage N-Able nSight, Cove Data Backup, and SentinelOne deployments . Ensure continuous security monitoring, alerting, and response for clients. Establish and refine security monitoring & reporting processes . Drive automation & efficiency to enhance security service delivery. Security Incident Response & Threat Management Investigate security incidents, breaches, and alerts , ensuring timely resolution. Develop playbooks and response plans to improve incident handling. Perform root cause analysis and implement proactive risk mitigation. Vulnerability Management & Hardening Implement and manage continuous vulnerability scanning & patching . Work with clients to remediate security gaps and enforce hardening best practices . Ensure ISO27001 & ASD Essential 8 compliance through proactive risk reduction. Backup & Business Continuity Oversight Ensure Cove Data Backup services are operational, tested, and reliable . Assist clients with backup validation, disaster recovery testing, and resilience planning . Be the go-to security expert for our MSS customers. Provide monthly security reports, insights, and actionable recommendations . Support clients through security maturity assessments & roadmap planning . Help shape our MSS offering , improving security outcomes while optimising costs. Work with leadership to expand security service capabilities and revenue streams . Stay ahead of emerging threats, tools, and best practices in cybersecurity.
