Manager AV Infrastructure page is loaded Manager AV Infrastructure Apply locations St Lucia Campus time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R-48120 Information Technology Services (ITS) Full-time, permanent position Base salary will be in the range $113,377 - $127,112 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8) Based at our St Lucia location About This Opportunity The Manager, AV Infrastructure is responsible for creating and maintaining appropriate audiovisual standards and design guidelines, and for ensuring AV installation and modification work is carried out to UQ standards across all 47 campuses/sites. It supports the delivery of the UQ capital and operational plan, working closely with the Division of Property and Facilities. Key responsibilities will include: Lead and manage audiovisual technology projects, providing technical expertise and overseeing day-to-day deliverables of the AV Projects and Integration Team. Develop and maintain audiovisual standards and design guidelines for the University. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure audiovisual work meets UQ standards across all campuses. Promote and ensure compliance with UQ’s Cyber Security Policy and procedures. Significant experience in sophisticated audiovisual technical solution design in a complex environment. Significant experience in consulting, advising on, and coordinating IT projects across a range of stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Strong technical knowledge and skills across a wide variety of audiovisual technologies, including but not limited to, control systems such as AMX, audio systems and sound reproduction, video and data projection and screen technologies. Excellent written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to write clear and precise user and technical specifications. Strong interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of people (including project managers, architects and builders) to achieve outcomes. Demonstrated ability to innovate and adopt new processes and technologies to deliver excellent service and quality outcomes. Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and meet deadlines.
