We’re looking for a passionate people leader obsessed with creating an environment where we build community capacity and connection that creates a lasting impact, improving outcomes for babies, toddlers, families and care givers in the north of Adelaide. The Job: Manager – Child & Family Wellbeing As the Manager – Child & Family Wellbeing, you will unleash a team of experts that listen to the community, develop and drive initiatives that support early childhood development, family and social connections, and build capacity within community groups. Your goal? To shape and deliver innovative services that create safe spaces and create opportunities for families and children to develop skills for life. What you’ll be doing Leading the development, delivery, and evaluation of services that contribute to child and family wellbeing, ensuring community needs and aspirations. Managing community hubs and programs, such as (but not limited to) early childhood development, community connection and building community capacity. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to design inclusive strategies based on community needs and data insights. Overseeing budgets, grant applications, and operational improvements to ensure financial sustainability. Leading and mentoring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and customer focus to support their success. Providing specialist advice, support and advocacy whilst leading the promotion and awareness of the importance or early childhood education and services. What you’ll bring to our team You will have demonstrated ability to lead community focused programs and a multidisciplinary team, with qualifications in Management, Community Development, or a related field. You will also have: Strong leadership and team development abilities. Expertise in community engagement, project delivery, and stakeholder collaboration. Experience in developing and implementing community development strategies, plans and programs. Exceptional communication skills for developing trusted relationships and representing services effectively. Commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and impactful environments for families and children.
