Opportunity for a manager with expertise in corporate coordination within a government organisation to contribute to the transition to renewable energy for NSW Sydney CBD location with hybrid working supported Salary from $145,378 to $168,130 plus super and leave loading EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure. About the Opportunity Our EnergyCo NSW Finance and Operations team is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Corporate Coordination to provide high-level corporate management, coordination and executive support to the Chief Finance and Operating Officer (CFOO) EnergyCo, to assist in achieving strategic and operational strategies in line with organisation, department and government objectives. The Finance and Operations division leads the whole-of-enterprise corporate and enabling functions to strengthen corporate and financial governance and drive operational excellence across EnergyCo as a fast-growing statutory corporation as a delivery agency for EnergyCo’s mega-infrastructure projects for NSW. Key functions of the division are: Financial management of all enterprise and project-related activities Managing the Transmission Acceleration Facility (TAF) Project commercial and procurement Legal and governance Organisation design and people programs and a range of operational services Corporate Services Partnership agreement and arrangements. About You To be successful in the role, you will have relevant experience in one or more of the following fields: finance, risk and assurance, corporate governance, legal, government and ministerial services, and/or secretariat. You will have demonstrated experience advising and supporting Leadership teams and practical knowledge of the workings of government and its processes. Your vast experience in a senior corporate role has enabled you to anticipate and manage major contentious and sensitive policy, program and operational issues within tight timeframes and coordinate and provide considered advice and accurate responses to requests for information. As a confident communicator, you have the ability to translate complex information quickly and coordinate quality and timely plain English papers and briefings in an environment of competing and high-volume priority work demands and diverse stakeholder perspectives. Minimum Qualifications: • Degree in a relevant discipline and/or relevant senior experience. EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
