YOUR ROLE This dynamic role drives operational resilience across IAG, providing expert guidance and support to senior leadership and operational teams to enhance the management of critical operations in line with APRA Prudential Standard CPS 230. You’ll lead the integration of critical operations across IAG, aligning with cutting-edge frameworks for Technology Resilience, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management. As a key leader, you'll oversee governance, ensure robust Business Continuity testing, and support high-impact programs that shape IAG’s future resilience. You'll lead a high-performing team to elevate BCM capabilities, present compelling insights to senior executives, and foster collaboration across IAG and industry to stay ahead of emerging risks. This is an opportunity to shape the future of operational resilience at IAG with real influence and impact. This is a permanent opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Sydney) or Meanjin (Brisbane). ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: Minimum of 10+ years Financial services experience with risk management, governance and/or assurance experience at a senior level. Demonstrated experience in Business Continuity Management within complex environments. Demonstrated experience implementing and embedding CPS 230 Operational Risk requirements. Demonstrated understanding and experience in IT infrastructure and disaster recovery management. Demonstrated working knowledge of Business Continuity Management software platforms. Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence across all levels of management. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure. Proven ability to work collaboratively to reach a common approach and desired outcomes. Demonstrated ability to actively keep abreast of changes in external environments and translate into internal environment. Proven ability to work collaboratively across whole of function and broader group to reach a common approach. Undergraduate/Postgraduate degrees or other qualifications required to perform the role at a fully competent level. Broad range of knowledge and relationships across the financial services industry, both on a local and global level to remain aware of current and emerging trends. Excellent workshop facilitation skills. Project Management leadership including developing and implementing a project. Applications close, Wednesday 12th March 2025.
