Manager - Data Quality, Governance and Reporting South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Employment Type : Permanent Full TimePosition Classification : Health Manager Level 3Remuneration : $127,150 - $144,444 per annum plus SuperannuationHours Per Week : 38Requisition ID : REQ552360Location: NegotiableApplications close: Wednesday 12 February Where you'll be working Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. PaCH provides community health services that give care to individuals, families, and carers, as well as population health services that focus on the whole community or key groups within the community. This role is negotiable between two locations: Engadine & Woolloomooloo. What you'll be doing This role will be responsible for providing expert advice and services on all facets of Data Governance and Reporting (DGR) to Population and Community Health (PaCH). The role has a specific focus on the provision of a range of DGR support to PaCH to achieve the business and service objectives. The Manager Data Quality, Governance and Reporting is crucial for ensuring the integrity, quality, and compliance of PaCH data assets. The primary duties involve developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards to maintain data assets' accuracy, consistency, and security. Implementing these duties involves managing a team consisting of a Metadata Analyst, a Reporting Analyst, and Data Analysts. Along with strong people management skills and excellent intercommunication skills, it is highly desirable that the successful candidate is familiar with PowerBI and SQL. Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Data Science/Data Analytics or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience. Demonstrated strong leadership skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture, and lead change. Extensive knowledge of contemporary issues in Data Governance and Reporting. Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach. Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in planning and evaluation at strategic and service levels within a high-volume dynamic work environment. Willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
