Manager Ethics and Integrity, Chief Executive Services, Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service You are invited to join a dynamic team with the Office of Chief Executive as Manager Ethics and Integrity. In this role you will provide advice and support to the Chief Executive with respect to matters involving the Ethics and Integrity of the Health Service, including matters of suspected corrupt conduct and Public Interest Disclosures. About your role: Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and work policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Communicate and negotiate with the Crime and Corruption Commission, Qld Police Service, Office of the Health Ombudsman, Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and other relevant internal and external stakeholders with regard to the management of matters. Maintain high working knowledge of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011, Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 and other relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Manage receipt and assessment of complex and sensitive complaints and information from employees and stakeholders to ascertain whether the alleged conduct amounts to suspected corrupt conduct and/or a public interest disclosure. Assist in delivering misconduct prevention and investigation capability activities, including delivering education and awareness presentations to employees. Conduct audits and quality assurance reviews of the complaints' management activities undertaken within the CHHHS.
