The Manager Finance & Governance is responsible for providing leadership in relation to financial management and governance activities of CBS. This includes leadership of CBS’ budgets, budget plans, forecasts, administration fund investments and oversight of all financial administration/operations.This role is also responsible for leadership of audit and risk management, contract management and procurement functions. The Manager Finance & Governance works closely with the Director, Business Services & Transformation, Senior Management Team and Executive to ensure obligations are met and robust performance reporting is in place. We want to hear from you if you have: Experience in and a strong understanding of financial and business operations, ideally in a government setting. Experience in leading a finance team and providing oversight to day-to-day functions. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial issues and systems, problem solve and lead improvements. Experience in financial performance and corporate reporting, including collecting, analysing, reporting and presenting data. Demonstrated ability to champion change and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Appropriate tertiary qualification/s in Business, Commerce, Finance or related discipline. Knowledge of compliance standards set by the South Australian Government (desirable).
