As the Manager of First Nations Strategy and Engagement , you’ll play a key role in shaping and advancing the First Nations Strategic Plan 2024-2027 at Torrens Global Education (TGES) . This is an opportunity to lead initiatives that foster cultural integrity, champion First Nations student and staff success , and align with Torrens University Australia’s (TUA) strategic vision and the Australian Universities Accord . You’ll drive key programs—like the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) —to create lasting impact across our institution. Key Accountabilities: Drive the implementation of the First Nations Strategic Plan Maintain and implement the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Enhance recruitment and retention strategies Build and maintain key partnerships with First Nations’ communities, agencies and organisations Promote First Nations culture and inclusion Support and empower staff and student awareness of the knowledge and perspectives of First Nations and other cultures This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid flexibility allowing you to work from home and from a campus near you. Who you are: Mandatory: Member of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Relevant Undergraduate/postgraduate qualifications (preferred). Demonstrated experience in developing and managing partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Knowledge of cultural protocols and practices relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The specific industry and related experience required to successfully perform in the role.
