Position Profile: We are looking for a highly capable and experienced workforce manager to join the Senior Leadership Group within the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, leading the Medical Workforce Unit (MWU). You will be a positive, resilient individual with extensive experience in the management and delivery of workforce programs in a complex organisational environment. You will be values-driven with proven experience in leading teams and building capacity in activities relevant to the MWU. As the manager of the MWU you will lead a system-wide approach to the development of strategic and future-focused initiatives and process improvements; including a state-wide vision for the delivery of the medical training pipeline. In addition, you will manage and direct the unit’s operations to ensure that activities and services relating to Medical Workforce planning, development, and implementation are consistent with the WA Health direction and organisational and customer priorities, following best practice ideals.
