Remuneration: ASO8 $121,107 - $125,679 p.a. + Superannuation About us: At the Department of Treasury and Finance, we work together to ensure South Australia is a thriving, prosperous state now and into the future. We are the lead agency for economic, social and financial policy outcomes, providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice to the Government of South Australia. About the opportunity: The Revenue and Economics Branch provides advice on state revenue matters, including state taxes and Commonwealth-State financial relations, as well as economic conditions and forecasts. Reporting to the Director, Revenue and Intergovernmental Relations, the Manager, Revenue will provide high-level advice on tax policy and revenue estimation crucial to the State's budgetary position. Responsibilities: Develop revenue forecasting models for forward estimates of revenues. Support a small team providing advice on revenue policy and estimation. Analyze revenue options available to Government, conducting relevant research and quantitative modelling of revenue potential. About you: To be successful you will: Hold a tertiary qualification in Economics, Commerce or a related field. Exhibit a high degree of initiative and motivation, inspiring team members. Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex issues and formulate solutions. Prepare clear and comprehensive advice on complex issues and communicate effectively.
