Manager System Monitoring and Reporting Team 11/12 Crown Award FT Permanent Salary range: $145,378 - $168,130 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The Mental Health Commission NSW is seeking interested applicants for the position of Executive Support Officer, Office Of the Commissioner (OOC). This is an exciting opportunity to provide Executive support to the Commissioner, A/Director System Reform and A/Director Operations and Engagement. The Commission is a small agency of around 30 FTE based in the Sydney CBD and working flexibly within hybrid workplace guidelines. Role of Mental Health Commission NSW The Mental Health Commission of NSW is a statutory agency, working to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the community. The Commission works with government agencies, peak bodies, community-managed organisations, academics, advocacy groups and service providers. Primary Purpose of the Role The Manager, System Monitoring and Reporting leads a team responsible to: Review, evaluate and report and advise on issues, trends and the effectiveness of systems of support for the mental health and wellbeing of the people of NSW Monitor and report on the implementation of strategic plans/frameworks prepared by the Commission Provide public accountability and transparency through providing independent reports and advice to the NSW Government, other agencies and the community The primary purpose of the Manager's role is to lead and manage a team to deliver the Commission's responsibilities of monitoring, reviewing and publicly reporting on the mental health and wellbeing of the people of NSW. The role also manages the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the implementation of strategic plans and frameworks prepared by the Commission, as well as projects and activities identified within the Commission's Strategic Plan. Key Accountabilities For full list of key accountabilities: See PD Essential Criteria Demonstrated highly developed strategic thinking and experience in the analysis of trends and emerging issues affecting the mental health and wellbeing of the people of NSW and the systems of support and relevant qualifications or equivalent industry experience. Highly developed technical skills in the analysis, reporting and presentation of mental health and social services data and information and prepare concise, well-considered advice, and present these in effective briefings or well-structured, clearly articulated reports and documents. Demonstrated experience in managing reporting, monitoring and evaluation of strategic plans and frameworks. Proven experience in effectively leading and managing teams. Extensive experience and demonstrable high-level skills in project management. Sound and up to date understanding of Commonwealth and state-wide directions in mental health reform. Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), conflict resolution and organisational skills. Significant experience and skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders.
