Working within the FINPRO Risk Management team, you will be responsible for the growth, profitability, and client satisfaction of a book of business containing complex priority accounts. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, pursuing new business development, and expanding and diversifying the mix of Marsh products and services the client holds. Counsel a mid-sized team of sales professionals on account retention and expansion skills for accounts of varying complexity, scopes, profit yields, and risk levels to enhance team capabilities and ensure performance. Develop research methodologies for account development to gather detailed information on essential decision-makers, strategic business challenges, and priorities for personal and team use when expanding the book of business. Drive the account and portfolio expansion process by leveraging close proximity to accounts, competitor positioning, and market trends; develop sales plans and coordinate marketing strategies for the team. Lead the development of custom solutions to address account/prospect needs, determining appropriate resources and teams to provide best-in-class service. What you need to have: Strong experience within a commercial insurance and risk consulting environment. Insurance broker’s license. Strong business acumen, including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions, finance, and issues. Good problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization, including the ‘C’ Suite. Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines. An understanding of the Oil & Gas and Mining industries, as well as the associated insurance market. What makes you stand out? 10+ years of experience within insurance broking. A sound understanding of business and organizational risk management. Prior experience managing a portfolio of complex accounts. Thorough understanding of all aspects of insurance and strategic client engagement. Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
