As the Manufacturing Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality specialist equipment to our valued customers. What you'll be doing Supervise and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing team to meet production targets and deadlines Monitor and maintain product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to manufacturing technicians as needed Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety and environmental regulations Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and optimize operations Lead and motivate the manufacturing team including areas of fabrication, machining, electrical and assembly, fostering a positive and engaged work environment What we're looking for Proven experience as a Manufacturing Foreman or similar supervisory role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and production plans Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a focus on team development Proficient in using computerized production management systems Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline desirable Forklift license, (LF) is also desirable What we offer KW Automation is a dynamic, growing company that values the contributions of its employees, and offers a competitive salary at above award standard.
