Our focus is to provide quality rentals on competitive terms in the Living, Lifestyle, and Holiday sectors, which are in high demand in Australia. Coorong Quays Marina, where the role is based, is a large residential, lifestyle, and holiday community located on the picturesque Southern Fleurieu Coast of South Australia. The community includes Australia's largest freshwater marina, residential houses set on lagoon frontages, the Alexandrina Cove Lifestyle Village, and the Islanders’ Tavern. We are seeking a full-time Property and Marina Manager to oversee the administration and operation of Coorong Quays marina and storage business. The role is hands-on and will also involve encumbrance, commercial property management, and other duties as directed by the SA Operations Manager. The applicant will ideally have the following skills and attributes: Previous relevant management experience ideally in property management or a similar role Previous experience in Marina and/or boating generally Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Energetic ‘can-do’ attitude Genuine interest in the marine and storage industry Strong attention to detail and time management focus Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal Knowledge of accounting packages an advantage Current drivers and boat license. Your responsibilities will include: Daily checks of the Marina and Storage areas Interaction with clients and the local community as required Managing a small number of employees/contractors for the property Ensuring the Marina and storage areas are presented to the highest standards (including proactively managing property maintenance and repairs) Assisting with establishing budgets and ensuring control of all property expenses Working closely with the SA Operations Manager and Head Office in Sydney Administering CAPEX programs for the property Managing WH&S, including reporting, on-site inspections, and investigations as required. This will be a varied and interesting role and one that will suit a success-driven, team player who is willing to be adaptable and have a hands-on, can-do attitude. We are willing to work with an applicant to assist them to grow into the role and the business more broadly. The role will be part of a broader local team and Sydney-based owner. The remuneration package will be tailored to the successful candidate's skill set and will comprise a competitive base salary + short and long-term incentives. Please apply via Seek directly.
