Work location: Mount Austin, Johor BahruWork Week: 5 days (Monday to Friday) Salary will be commensurate with work experience. Job Summary: The Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for leading and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that enhance the organization’s brand, promote its products/services, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to achieve organizational goals.Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.Coordinate cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and customer retention. Brand Management: Oversee and maintain the company’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of branding initiatives. Content Creation and Management: Lead the creation and distribution of compelling content across digital and social media platforms.Manage editorial calendars, ensuring content aligns with company objectives and audience interests.Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to produce high-quality content. Digital Marketing and Social Media: Oversee and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, and social media strategies.Analyze digital marketing metrics and adjust campaigns to optimize performance.Manage the company’s social media presence, creating engaging content and responding to customer inquiries. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the marketing and communication budget.Allocate resources efficiently and ensure marketing projects stay within budget and deadlines.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing and communication colleagues.Provide guidance on marketing best practices, tools, and strategies.Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. 5 years or more of experience in marketing and communications, with a track record of successful campaigns and leadership. Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategies, and content management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset. Self-motivated and self-disciplined; able to work independently without much supervision. Proficient in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire a team. Additional Skills: Knowledge of design software (Adobe Suite, Canva) is a plus. Experience with video production and editing is a plus. Full-time position with flexible working hours. Hybrid or remote work options available.
