Tetra Tech International Development is a leading development consulting firm working with government, businesses, and NGOs to solve complex development challenges in the Indo-Pacific region. About the role You will support the Associate Director and Director of Marketing and Communications in the following four major areas of work for Tetra Tech: Marketing and business development: Research, brainstorm, write, edit, proof and support the design of a broad range of marketing and business development collateral and tenders. Program management: Provide strong support for all communication requests, working closely with the Marketing and Communications team and in-house graphic designers to produce collateral for both print and digital applications such as brochures, annual reports, video, and websites in line with the Tetra Tech brand. Technical excellence: Provide mid-tier excellence and innovation in writing and graphic design direction. Organisational and professional development: Take responsibility and actively work for your own professional development and that of others in the sector, while also contributing to broader objectives of the company. Selection criteria Qualifications Tertiary qualifications or equivalent 3 years’ work experience in marketing, communication, business or related discipline. Experienced in writing B2B content for different mediums. Knowledge and skills Strong organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in supporting/managing communication projects from start to finish. Proven record of developing strategic communications and/or contributing significantly. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in managing graphic design projects. Exceptional interpersonal skills, and experience working in partnership with business leaders and key stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to plan, draft, edit, and proofread information to publication standard. Up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, including social media channels, social scheduling tools, front-end website development/editing tools, marketing automation tools, CRM, EDM tools, and design tools like Adobe and Canva Pro. Personal Attributes Ability to work with minimal direction as part of a team and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive and confidential matters. Service-oriented, enthusiastic, motivated, positive and solution-focused. Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and deliver the best course of action for various international development clients.
