Marketing and Events Officer - Calamvale Community College Education (Organisation site)Metropolitan South Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division Calamvale Community College has an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time, 0.5FTE (36hrs per fortnight). Key Accountabilities Coordinate & Photography of Events - Awards Nights, Graduation Ceremonies, Study Tours, special events etc. About Calamvale Community College At Calamvale Community College, we're known for educating the global generation. The IB provides the curriculum in which our community can see themselves and through which they can see the rest of the world. We are a state school of approximately 2500 students Prep to Year 12 offering IB PYP, MYP and Diploma. We have one of the highest levels of long-term enrolments of international students choosing to study with our College from across Asia. About the Role Responsibilities include: Coordinate school special events including Awards night, Anzac Day, Graduation ceremonies, Open Day, Study Tours and enrolment information, including consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events. Coordinate the production of all school publications and promotional material along with the school newsletter and maintain content for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community. Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff and external clients to ensure the success of school marketing and events, and the promotion of the school as a key priority. Assist in the development of promotional material, including marketing strategies and initiatives, and develop innovative marketing systems, processes, and procedures. About You Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team. Proven ability to build strong working relationships and rapport with a diverse range of people. Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, proactive and show initiative. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills to multitask and work well under pressure and manage shifting priorities and interruptions in an office environment. Ability to think logically and solve problems. Maintain strict confidentiality as per the Code of Conduct for Qld Public Servants. Experience in a similar position within a school is highly desirable. Mandatory Requirements: A criminal history check will be initiated on the successful applicant.
