CIS is an ecclesiastical faculty and is a partner institution of the University of Notre Dame Australia. About the Role The primary purpose of the Marketing/Social Media Officer is to lead the development and implementation of marketing and communication functions for CIS. Responsible for promoting the Institute, its brand and reputation as a unique, quality higher education institution, and for addressing its presence through social media channels. Responsibilities A strategic approach to the marketing of CIS, including youth and evangelization circles. Undertake relevant market research, to identify new opportunities and evaluate previously completed activities. Design and/or produce promotional materials, physical and digital. Maintain a relevant media presence by preparing regular media releases. Determine standards of styling for corporate documentation and provide assistance to staff with print projects ensuring a consistent brand image. Production of key Institute publications to a consistently high standard including flyers, enrolment and information materials, newsletters, annual reports, social media updates, and other digital outputs. Ensure the digital presence of CIS is up to date, and effective. Prepare and monitor the allocated marketing budget. Qualifications and experience Relevant tertiary qualifications (marketing/communications) and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience in digital platforms, social media and website maintenance. Experience with graphic design. Experience working in Higher Education sector and/or Catholic organization. High level computer skills & thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe suite of products. Effective communicator, with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders.
