About The Position: Terra Mining is currently seeking an experienced Medical Emergency Services Officer responsible for providing first response coverage 24/7 in our Extension Hill project located in the Mid-West region. This role is offered on an 8:6 roster and day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Responding to site emergencies and maintaining a state of operational readiness. Providing First Aid Treatment, Basic and Advanced Emergency Medical Care and Basic Primary Healthcare. Assist where required with local community incidents needing emergency services. Inspecting of ambulance, equipment and facilities and the accurate maintenance of records. Providing of health & hygiene related awareness & information materials, including presentations to site workforce. Administrating drug and alcohol screening tests as and when directed, including sample collection, and screening where necessary. Assisting in the planning and coordination of, and participate in, site emergency drills. Other duties related to the provision of health and safety activities as appropriate. What You Will Bring Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a mining or heavy industry environment. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Emergency Response and Rescue. Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue. Certificate IV in Healthcare. Drug and Alcohol Testing trained (Authorised DAS Collection Officer). Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be desirable. A positive attitude to teamwork and safety. Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing. Must have the Right to Work in Australia. Current National Police Clearance, issued within the last twelve months. What We Offer Permanent Full Time Employment. Great team culture.
