Job Description

Medical Senior Receptionist/Assistant Manager Based in Orange, Bloomfield Medical Group & Bloomfield Specialist Group are home to a group of General Practitioners as well as Specialists who work closely with the administration team on a day-to-day basis. Our doctors are both permanent and visiting and we cater to each of them in their respective field. Our location is neighbored by Orange Health Service, The Remington Hotel Orange & Early Rise Childcare Orange as well as having Pathology, Radiology, Chiropractic and Physiotherapy services also on site. About You Bloomfield Medical Group is a fast-paced, state-of-the-art facility which continues to grow and as such, we are looking for a Senior Receptionist or an experienced Assistant Manager to head the team and assist the Practice Manager in the day-to-day running of the business. On average you will work a 38hr week between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility is a must. Reporting to the CEO and Practice Manager, you will also work alongside the senior members of staff in all aspects of the business. You will be responsible for a small team of staff and a large team of Doctors. No two days will be the same and you will need to be able to take challenges on head first and be someone the entire team can rely on at all times. You will be someone who can build rapport, listen, learn, multitask and prioritize. Knowledge and experience working alongside Specialists would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of/but not limited to: Best Practice, Genie, Gentu, Cliniko, Dragon, Wageloch & Reckon will also be highly regarded. Preferred - previous Senior/Management experience & expertise Preferred – experience within the Medical sector Preferred – experience with Specialists Preferred – flexibility to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Preferred - contactable before, during and after work hours as well as weekends for emergencies Willingness to learn Willingness to be a part of a team who work together to get the job done and have each other’s back Team Player Responsibilities and Duties (may include but are not limited to) : Open/Close of rooms Front desk (when required) Incoming and outgoing phone calls Emails Accounts Liaising with health funds/medicare Scheduling/calendars HR Cater to all doctors' requests Corresponding with doctors, hospitals, patients, peers, and management Using multiple software programs Attendance to staff meetings/performance reviews General running of day-to-day business If you are someone who is a natural born leader and you pride yourself on being there for your team, someone who goes above and beyond on a day-to-day basis and someone who knows what it takes to show kindness and empathy towards patients and your peers - we would love to hear from you.
