Job Description

Medical Education Unit is looking for a Medical Support Officer to join their team. The role involves providing high-quality administrative and secretariat support to the Medical Education Unit (MEU) at QEII Jubilee Hospital. This includes managing communications, scheduling meetings, organizing events, maintaining records, and assisting with educational program logistics. The position also supports financial tracking, ensures compliance with regulations, and provides assistance to medical staff and trainees. About the Role Coordination of all Orientation sessions for Interns, Resident Medical Officers, and Registrars, including venue/speaker bookings and invitation/logging attendance, all pre-orientation information, hospital manuals, in collaboration with the MEOs. Other calendar coordination and administrative tasks including booking MEU meetings with Senior and Resident Medical Officers, as well as venue booking of Formal Education Program sessions for Interns and Resident Medical Officers, in collaboration with the MEOs. Provide advice to the DCT and MEOs on mandatory training for junior Resident Medical Officers, including minimum requirements and compliance rates. Effectively manage all MEU databases with a very high degree of accuracy, collate information, and prepare evaluation reports to map learning outcomes.
