Location: Supercars Australia, Sydney or Gold Coast Team: Marketing POSITION OVERVIEW Supercars Australia is seeking a dynamic and passionate Memberships and Grassroots Event Marketing Executive to join our marketing team. This role will focus on driving membership engagement, managing grassroots initiatives, and supporting the planning and execution of grassroots and community-focused events. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in motorsport and experience in event marketing, community outreach, and audience engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Membership Programs: Develop, implement, and manage Supercars' MySupercars membership programs to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement. Work closely with the Event Marketing Manager to create targeted campaigns and initiatives that enhance member satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cross-promotion and member benefits. Analyze membership data and performance metrics to improve engagement strategies. Grassroots Engagement: Coordinate grassroots initiatives that promote Supercars at the local and community level. Plan and execute students on track program and build out attendance at events throughout the Supercars season. Build and nurture relationships with grassroots motorsport clubs, influencers, and local stakeholders to extend Supercars' brand reach. Event Marketing & Execution: Support the planning, promotion, and execution of Supercars' grassroots and community events. Assist with the creation of marketing materials (digital and print) to promote events and membership initiatives. Work closely with the event marketing team to ensure seamless event execution and post-event follow-up. Attend selected promoted rounds of the Supercars season to assist with the execution of the local area marketing program. Campaign & Content Management: Collaborate with the design and marketing automation marketing team to create engaging content that highlights membership and grassroots events across social media, email newsletters, and the website. Assist in developing event-specific marketing campaigns to ensure maximum participation and visibility. Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams, sponsors, and external vendors to execute event logistics and marketing strategies. Provide support for event sponsorships and ensure sponsor deliverables are met. Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on the success of grassroots events and membership initiatives, providing regular updates to the team. Analyze event feedback and membership data to identify areas for improvement. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in event marketing, membership programs, or grassroots engagement. Strong understanding of motorsports and Supercars' fan base. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects. Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms. Desired but not essential. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for community engagement and brand-building.
