We are seeking a lead volunteer and one or two team members who are passionate about connecting with Male Residents to create a Men's Shed-like gathering on-site at our Dementia Village in Caulfield. If you have an interest in D.I.Y. projects, gardening, getting outdoors for a walk, woodwork, mechanics, or simply sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, then this role is for you! Your Impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government, established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
