Mental Health Coordinator, Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service - Mareeba You are invited to join a dynamic team with Tablelands Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Mental Health and Alcohol Other Drugs Service as Psychologist or Social Worker or Occupational Therapist - Senior (Mental Health Coordinator Child and Youth). In this role you will provide high level coordination and clinical leadership in the provision of quality rural mental health care including case management, assessment and acute care service, mental health promotion and education, and consultation liaison services to the Child and Youth mental health clients and their families within the community of the Hinterland Hub, as a member of a multidisciplinary team. About your role: Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high level clinical services; including triage, assessment, treatment and crisis management to children and young people with mental health concerns in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. Provide high level clinical skills in the management of a clinical caseload with direct client interaction. Apply professional judgement to complex cases, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
