The Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our mental health departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. This role involves managing clinical and administrative staff, developing and implementing service strategies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA A minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health services setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and healthcare regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience with organisational accreditation processes and continuous quality improvement strategies. Act as a liaison between the department and hospital administration, reporting on key performance indicators. Interested to know more?
